Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Little Grape Company Limited’s website (the “Website”) and your relationship with The Little Grape Company Limited whose registered office address is at 40 bloomsbury way, London, WC1A 2SE (the “Company”, “we” or “us”). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not order wine from our Website.

1 Ordering

By clicking the ‘confirm order’ button you are making an offer to buy from us within our terms. We will respond with an email confirmation of the order once your payment has been received. This confirmation email will be sent by an automated server. Please check your junk folder.

2 Payment

Payment will be accepted by debit card, credit card or Paypal. All credit and debit card transactions are subject to authorisation by your card issuer.

3 Contract

Once payment is received by us a legally binding contract will exist between you and the Company. We reserve the right to refuse or amend any order up to the point of dispatch, and you have the right of cancellation as set out below. If we have to amend your order we will always contact you before proceeding with the sale. In registering on the website or placing any order for alcohol you confirm that you are over 18. No contract shall exist between us and anyone under 18 who attempts to order or to take delivery of alcohol.

4 Availability and Descriptions

We try to ensure that all wines offered on the Website are currently available, but availability is limited, particularly in the case of wines from small-scale producers. All products are offered subject to availability.

The bottle images shown on the Website may not be that of the actual vintage available. Please check the product details for the actual vintage. We aim to keep the Website as updated and as accurate as possible however wines produced in small quantities run out quickly and vintages change often.

5 Pricing and Discounts

Prices are given per 75cl bottle. All prices include duty and VAT.

If a product is accidentally offered at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse to supply at the incorrect price and will contact you to see if you wish to proceed with the sale at the correct price.

6 Delivery

All online orders over £100 receive FREE delivery wine to mainland UK addresses.

A delivery charge of £10 will be added to all orders below £100 to mainland UK addresses. Other UK addresses including the Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland have higher delivery charges dependent on the postcode.

We are unable to offer international wine delivery at this time.

Our wines will normally be dispatched within 5 working days of your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to specify an exact day or time of delivery. If you are not in when we try to deliver, then our courier will attempt to re-deliver your wine.  If delivery is unsuccessful the package will be returned to the local collection centre. If it is not collected within 7 days it will be returned to us and additional delivery charges may apply to resend your order.

Please complete the comments section during checkout if you prefer your wine to be left with a neighbour or in a safe place. If your order is left somewhere at your request and subsequently goes missing we regret that neither we nor our couriers can take responsibility.

Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

7 Acceptance and Returns

It is your responsibility to check the goods on or as soon as reasonably possible after their delivery to you. Any broken, damaged, missing or incorrect products should be reported to the carrier at the time of delivery; or, if that is not possible reported to us in writing as soon as reasonably possible.

We shall be entitled to reject any claim for broken or damaged products, incorrect quantities or incorrect products if you do not notify us of it within 7 days after the day of delivery at the latest.

If any of the goods are believed to be unsatisfactory, please retain them and let us know as soon as reasonably possible in writing.  If we are satisfied that the goods were unsatisfactory at the time of delivery, we will replace them.  If replacement is not reasonably possible, we will make an appropriate refund or credit to you.  We reserve the right to collect the relevant goods at our own expense.  These Terms will apply to any replacement goods we supply to you.

8 Cancellation and Complaints

Orders delivered may be cancelled by you within 7 days of receipt (by you or your designated delivery point), without reason. The goods (in good condition and unopened) must be returned to us.

If we are unable to accept the return because the goods are not in good condition or have been opened, a re-delivery fee will be payable.

Upon receipt and acceptance by us we will refund all payments (less any collection or delivery charges) within 30 days.

Refunds will be made to the credit card used for the original purchase after deducting 5% of the invoice total to cover our costs, including charges by your credit card company.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

9 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
